Hannah Ethun, LCSW
As a Social Worker, both by nature and education, I view the world and our relationships through the lens of systems. I believe our mental health is deeply influenced by our culture, socialization, family of origin, and many other interconnected systems. With this perspective in mind, I take a down-to-earth approach to therapy, grounded in warmth, humor, and genuine empathy. My intention is to help you feel empowered, build self-confidence, and bring more enjoyment and balance to your relationships.
I specialize in working with trauma, grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression, perinatal and postpartum challenges, fertility issues, family conflict, and stress management. I’m especially passionate about supporting women, and I work with teens (16+), adults, and families. I also proudly offer an LGBTQIA+ affirming space.
Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, I understand that true healing occurs when we shift patterns in both the mind and body. Some of my favorite approaches include Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Outside of being a therapist, you’ll find me chasing after my two young kids, husband, and our dog, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying some good music.
